La Sociedad Bíblica Argentina (SBA) tiene en marcha un proyecto de producir material de video para personas sordas. El objetivo es la producción de un DVD que trate sobre la vida y las enseñanzas de Jesús, en cuya elaboración -realización, corrección, coordinación y difusión- participarán activamente personas sordas.
Según informaron desde la asociación “Sordos Católicos”, el pasado 26 de noviembre se llevó a cabo una reunión en la sede de la SBA y se acordó realizar un nuevo encuentro en el mismo lugar (Tucumán 352, Buenos Aires), para el viernes 7 de diciembre a las 17. Para ello, informaron, “la Sociedad Bíblica invita a las personas sordas interesadas a participar del proyecto que por supuesto llevará tiempo pero con ayuda de Dios dará muchos frutos”.
La SBA tiene como objetivo la traducción de la Biblia a distintos idiomas. Por ejemplo, realizaron traducciones a las lenguas de las comunidades aborígenes de nuestro país y ahora tienen pensado efectuar un trabajo para la comunidad sorda argentina.
Ya hicieron un proyecto similar en Costa Rica, en el que participaron sordos en la producción del material que consta de un DVD en lengua de señas, con close caption y voz en off. Y la propuesta para la Argentina es realizar un trabajo similar, relacionado con la vida de Jesús o lo que crean conveniente que haga falta a la comunidad sorda.
El proyecto lo llevarán adelante personas sordas cristianas, tanto de religión católica como evangélicos, y por ahora el objetivo será contar sobre Jesús y sus enseñanzas.
